This 2018 Barossa Shiraz is a bold yet refined expression of the region’s renowned power, complexity, and old-vine character. Sourced from carefully selected mature vineyards across the Barossa Valley, it reflects a vintage that balanced richness with structure and finesse.

In the glass, it shows a deep crimson hue, with an aromatic nose of blackberry, plum, and cassis, lifted by hints of licorice, clove, and dark chocolate. Gentle notes of cedar, star anise, and fine French oak weave through the bouquet, adding intrigue and depth.

The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, delivering layers of ripe black fruits, espresso, and savoury spice, framed by firm yet polished tannins. The finish is long and persistent, with a touch of minerality and beautifully integrated oak. A classic Barossa Shiraz with power, poise, and cellar-worthy structure.

This is a wine of tremendous fruit concentration and intensity, yet it is delivered with a refined and controlled poise. Spicy with deep plummy fruits showing an infusion of black olive and sage bush. The palate has a delicious dark chocolate coating across the vibrant high energy red and black fruits.
