Tasting Note:
Deep ruby red in the glass with a youthful garnet edge. The nose is immediately expressive, offering lifted aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and ripe mulberry, intertwined with subtle notes of graphite, dried tobacco leaf, and bay laurel. As the wine opens, layers of cedar, dark chocolate, pencil shavings, and a hint of mint emerge, reflecting the hallmark Coonawarra character.

On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with superb balance. The entry delivers juicy cassis and plum fruit, followed by waves of liquorice, clove, and earthy spice. Silky yet persistent tannins frame the fruit, giving structure without overwhelming, while a line of bright acidity from the famed terra rossa soils keeps the wine fresh and precise. A subtle touch of French oak adds finesse, with notes of vanilla pod and roasted coffee bean seamlessly integrated.

The finish is long and savoury, lingering with flavours of dark berry, graphite, and cocoa, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and complexity.
